Our Vision and Values
LTO’s vision is to help develop communities of orphans and young people in the UK, Africa and other parts of the world.
We want young people to feel that they still belong to a family despite being orphaned in this world and that they have the opportunity to contribute and thrive. We believe that opportunity belongs to all, regardless of social, economic, religious status and background.
Our values flow primarily from our Islamic faith, such as doing good to others.
We believe that every person is of equal value and actively looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in the communities where we work and serve.
We offer young people our time, space and the environment they need to feel secure, respected, heard, and valued.
We strive to inspire each person that we meet to nurture their body, mind, and soul, and to realise their full potential in all that they do in this life.
We stand up for orphans and young people, we speak out on issues that affect their lives, and help them to find confidence in their own voice.
We are committed to the wellbeing of the young communities we serve and believe in the positive benefit of participation locally, nationally and in the wider world.

Our Story
Orphan and Orphanage
LTO is Committed to the alleviation of all forms of poverty and deprivation anywhere in the world.
The organisation’s primary focus is on orphans and youth with an additional focus on widows who are often left out of male-orientated societies.
Although our schemes are designed to support these specific groups, it is evident that they will also help the whole surrounding community to become self-sufficient, and thus help to break the cycle of deprivation.
These small changes have a big impact in ensuring that our recipients progress out of the ‘cycle of poverty’ for future generations.
We play an effective role in the global battle against poverty, starvation, illiteracy, and exploitation by focussing on key areas.
